Nokia’s el cheapo 1100 handset has reportedly racked up “over 200 million sales” since it launched in 2003. You heard right, this low-end candybar has put the 100 million iPods, 50 million RAZRs, 10 million Chocolates, and 115 million PlayStation 2 consoles to shame in terms of sheer units moved. Interestingly enough, the design team that conjured up this cash cow originally dubbed it “Penny,” and the stripped down, dust-proof mobile purportedly entered the market at precisely the right time to catch the booming overseas growth as folks worldwide began snapping up their own cellphone. Of course, such a basic, uninspiring phone isn’t for everyone, but considering the 200 million strong that owned one sometime during their life, we’d say Nokia found a winner.

Researchers at IDC say that 1.3 billion people will connect to the Internet via mobile phones by 2008. To get to the people who like to surf your pages from their mobiles its neccessary that the pages are displayed well. Andy Moore has released an updated Wordpress Mobile plugin that allows readers to visit your site on a mobile phone or device with reduced browser capabilities.

The plugin is quite well-constructed and immediately senses an incoming mobile phone browser and acts accordingly. After installing it onto www.Hem.com.np, I was able to browse the site on an emulated Symbian device. Best of all, you can add AdMob ads into the site automatically. Andy even takes a cut for himself, thereby saving us all the travails of sending him a check for such great programming work.

Refactoring a web page for mobile browsing is hard. This plugin makes it amazingly easy.

Morgan Pozgar, a 13-year-old, won LG’s National Texting Championship after she defeated her West Coast competitor. The net prize is USD 25,000. With her little thumps, she successfully texted “Supercalifragilisticexpialidoucious! Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious. If you say it loud enough you’ll always sound precocious” in just few seconds.
According to Pozgar’s mom, the 13-year-old girl receives 8,000 - 10,000 messages per month.

Most of the Software companies and Offices block Orkut and messengers But there is something through which u can access Messenger and chat with ur buddies. Nimbuzz is actually made for mobile use but u can use it in your desktop and chat with your Gmail contacts and MSN contacts. No yahoo yet ( the Nimbuzz guys say Yahoo thing is still under development ).

Using Nimbuzz you can have your MSN messenger contacts loaded to your Nimbuzz window but for Google talk, you have to manually add your gmail contacts whoever you want to chat with . Additionally u can add Nimbuzz buddies to chat with them no Google Id and MSN id required in that case.

From Google chat window u can see Nimbuzz buddies if the nimbuzz buddy has added u.

2. The mobile version of Nimbuzz will open in your browser. Thats why its quite fast.
3. Register to have your account
4. Sign in with your Nimbuzz ID and password
5. To add contacts click manage contacts and you can add Nimbuzz or Google contacts
6. To add MSN or AOL contacts you need to go to settings and then Communities the u can provide login and password for MSN or AOL . you can have your contacts loaded in nimbuzz window .
7. Enjoy chatting with your Google ,MSN ,AOL (AIM), or nimbuzz contacts.

The only bad thing is that dont get any sound our visual notification when u get Instant message ,u need to go to nimbuzz window to check if any message has come. this is again good in office and it gives ur the privacy chat u wanted.
