Damn ! more than 100 thousand Spams in my blog

This blog Started since April 07 . Though in the archives it says that it started from December 06 . It was on different domain and Different platform other than WordPress . I moved the blog to WordPress and this domain www.hem.com.np . I later added Akismet to block spam comments to this blog after some months may be around june 07 and in the one year’s period the total spam counts just above one hundred thousand . Thanks to Akismet for blocking so many spam comments and counting .

I had Spam comments flooded to my blog when i followed No-Follow movement and now its been some months i have removed no-follow from my blog comments to reduce spam comments filling the blog comment section .

The Spam Count by Akismet can be seen at the sidebar in my blog at the bottom of first sidebar. The count at the time i wrote was 100128

Google Search Result contains mobile version of YouTube !!

While i am searching something in YouTube from GOOGLE.com , i am getting results of videos for the mobile version of youtube site ( startiling with m.youtube…… ) even when i m searching from my desktop.. you can try this with this Google search URL. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=youtube+google+hack&btnG=Google+Search

India - Number 1 Click Fraud Country

India is the number 1 click fraud country as reported by ClickForensic

  • The overall industry average click fraud rate rose to 16.6 percent for Q4 2007. That’s up from the 14.2 percent click fraud rate for the same quarter in 2006 and 16.2 percent for Q3 2007.
  • The average click fraud rate of PPC advertisements appearing on search engine content networks, including Google AdSense and the Yahoo Publisher Network, was 28.3 percent in Q4 2007. That’s up from the 19.2 percent average click fraud rate for the same quarter in 2006 and 28.1 percent for Q3 2007.
  • The 2007 industry average click fraud rate grew by 15 percent over the industry average click fraud rate for 2006.
  • Q4 2007 click fraud traffic from botnets was 15 percent higher than click fraud traffic from botnets in Q3 2007.
  • In Q4 2007, the greatest percentage of click fraud originating from countries outside North America came from India (4.3 percent) Germany (3.9 percent) and South Korea (3.7 percent).
