What’s the Hungarian equivalent of Cohen? Kovacs. But if they allowed him to change his name, he must have some special status. What could it be? A doctorate from the University. At this point the scholar turns to the young man and says, “How do you do, Dr. Kovacs?”

How much do you love ur RSS reader. Did you know that you can read your Gmail Inbox in a Reader . You need to use Opera browser for this. I tried doing this in Firefox . This is possible from Firefox too. but its quite different . in Opera , opera asks for username and password at the time it starts but in firefox clicking on the mail feed will redirect you to google mail login page. I like the opera way. Though to see whole of message u need to go to Gmail web interface but still u can browse through the subject and senders . here are the steps how to setup the Gmail Rss reader in Opera.

1 . First download latest version of Opera in case u dont have it

2. Open gmail.com in opera browser and login with your ID.

3. After the page Gmail Interface fully loads Click on the RSS icon next to the address bar.

4. Now you are subscribed to your Gmail Rss feed.

5. Next time u open Opera and if u have any mail in your inbox it will ask for username and password.

6. To open the mail feed go to Opera menu Feeds and select your mail feed

7. you should see a interface like below.

Today i got a Fraudulent email asking me to enter my bank details. Though i was not a UTI bank customer , i got this email from a customer.alert@utibank.co.in . A site www.utibank.co.in really exists and its , i think , owned by actual UTI bank which if u visit clearly states the followning.

but sending an email from any email ID is possible. There are many anonymous mail sending sites over the internet where u can put any email ID u want.

I never heard of .cat TLD and i didn’t know it exists .

I opened the link in Firefox and firefox gave me a warning that the site is suspected of web forgery . quite smart firefox. but i opened the same link on IE6 No such warning. This was a first cyber fraud case which asked my bank account number though i had another interesting love over the internet fraud emails which is posted here.

You have some favorite blogs of yours which u frequently visit . you can have updates from them and read the posts with your web readers like google reader , bloglines etc . which make use of Feeds as an input . But what if you want to display preview of some of the good blogs you like your readers to read and are in the same niche your blog is in. If you are a wordress user you can easily display the updates from your selected blogs in a page and you can give link to that page as “Recent updates from my blog circles” and there you have all the blogs listed with latest updates . The number of posts ,of course, you can control. Its just like public RSS aggregator and reader . but you may have serious copyright issue so i suggest you to display the preview of the posts and link to the respective posts .

For this purpose there are mainly two ways i have come across and are free and user friendly

1. Adam has written a Friends RSS Agregator program in PHP which u can download from his site or u can download it directly cliking here.

2. Feed2js is another javascript program which aggregates the feeds from one RSS feed but u can embedd as many such feed2js code into your blog or site to display post preview from multiple RSS feeds. As feed2js also has option that u can host the javascript in your own server although they have freely provided their server for the Javascript file to run ( this saves your bandwidth..)
