I recently had an idea of creating an online Diary. I have maintained the habit a writing in my personal Diary since i was in 8th Standard ( been more than 11 years now WOW… ) . I have been really busy and LAZY to write into my Personal Diary these days. I find myself with computers most of the time in daily basis. This is the main and only reason i decided to have an online Diary . Today i created a WordPress blog with one of my personal domain . I would be maintaing my Personal papered Diary too. But online diary is when i feel bored to write into my paper diary and when i find attached to computers .

I had a simple journey doing this but it took me some time to find how to disable people viewing my private blog and allowing only to the logged in People  ( that will be only me .. ) . but later with some searching i found a great plugin for this purpose called “Private Only” .

These are the simple steps i did.

1. Downloaded and Uploaded latest version of WordPress

2. Set up the database for WordPress and Installed it.

3. While installing unchecked the checkbox where it says ” Allow search engines to index my blog” . ( Privacy). This can also be done from WordPress Admin panel in Privacy tab.

4. Applied this beautiful personal touch theme named Notepad Chaos.

5. Then installed the Private Only plugin .

Done.
